It's a special kind of love. That between mother and child. You carry them in your womb - for longer than 9 months. You feel them grow, the first flutter of movement. You wonder 'is that you little one?'. People start to comment that you are showing and then it happens you feel a real movement, look down and there it is, under your skin, rolling into a better spot - your child. By the end you can't believe you ever wanted a child, get this thing out of me is all you want to scream but when they hand your child to you, and you look into their eyes for the first time you know it was all worth it. Your child. Your blood. Your life.
